Smiles

"My parents dropped me off at Spirit Sports Camp and kept telling me I was going to have so much fun. Well, for the first week I tried to prove them wrong. But they were right! Soon, I started having a good time. Every day there was something fun to do, and I always did it with great people. I will miss everyone. I'm definitely coming back to Spirit because this was the best summer of my life."

- Lee, a SPIRIT Camper

On the last day of camp, we welcome parents and families to join us as we wrap up lessons learned, say goodbye to friends, and end the session.

   Our schedule for closing day...

9:00 a.m. - Mini sport practice sessions

From 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. we participate in mini sport practices. We give the parents an opportunity to observe a modified version of what the campers have been doing in each of their sports.

While cheering your daughter on, you can also meet other parents, greet their newly made camp friends, and squeeze in a conversation with your daughter's advisor.

11:30 a.m. - Lunch and farewell address

From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we have lunch and a farewell address. Weather permitting, the Kent School cooking staff prepares and serves us a delicious cookout outside the dining hall on a hill overlooking the campus.

Note: Families who stay for Parents' Day need to make a lunch reservation when completing their final camp forms.

1:00 p.m. - Campers depart

Campers depart between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. The actual time each camper leaves often depends on the number of items they have yet to pack and how long it takes them to say goodbye to their new found friends.
